Local teams to collide in King Showcase on jan. 15

The King Showcase presented by the Ram Restaurant comes to the accesso ShoWare Center on Monday, Jan. 15.

Six high school boys and two girls games are on tap for the day, including a noon matchup between defending state 4A girls champion Kentridge and top-ranked Central Valley of Yakima.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 students with ASB cards and $5 for seniors.

The schedule:

• 9 a.m., Kentlake boys vs. Vashon Island

• 10:30 a.m., Auburn boys vs. Mount Tahoma

• Noon, Kentridge girls vs. Central Valley
