The Seattle Thunderbirds defeated the Vancouver Giants 6-0 Wednesday night at Pacific Coliseum.

The line of Branden Troock, Alexander Delnov and Connor Honey combined for 11p points to help lead the T-Birds to the victory.
An apparent T-Birds goal at 4:02 of the first period by Honey was waved off after video review. It looked like Honey put back a rebound of a Delnov shot but Vancouver goalie Peyton Lee got his glove on the puck before it went over the line.
Honey came right back at 13:54 to get the T-Birds first goal. Troock fed the puck from the neutral zone to Delnov coming up center ice. Delnov sent the puck to Honey coming down the right wing. Honey beat Vancouver goalie Peyton Lee with a slap shot from the right circle for his first goal of the season.
Seattle outshot Vancouver 11-9 in the first period.
Delnov put the T-Birds in front 2-0 at 5:04 of the second period. Honey moved the puck up to Troock in the neutral zone. Troock muscled through the Giants defense and centered the puck to Delnov form the right circle. Delnov put the puck past Lee for his first goal of the season.
Seattle (2-0-0-0) extended the lead to 3-0 at 7:08 of the second when Seth Swenson scored. Defenseman Griffin Foulk took a slap shot from the left point that was blocked and went right to Roberts Lipsbergs in the right circle. Lipsbergs made a spin-o-rama pass to Swenson to the left of the goal forcing Lee to his knees. Swenson put the put into an empty net for his first goal of the year.
Troock gave the T-Birds a 4-0 lead at 15:25 of the second. Delnov gained the Giants zone and then dropped the puck to Honey. Honey put a shot on goal that Lee stopped but the puck laid in the crease. Troock swooped in, skated right and beat Lee for the goal.
Vancouver replaced Lee with Jared Rathjen after the fourth Seattle goal. Lee stopped 16 of 20 shots.
Riley Sheen got the T-Birds fifth goal at 16:02 of the second. Jared Hauf sent the puck from the left boards to Sheen all alone to the right of the goal. Rathjen went down thinking Hauf was shooting the puck. Sheen had a wide open net to shoot at and he got his first goal of the season.
Seattle outshot Vancouver 14-10 in the second period and led 25-19 in total shots after two periods.
The T-Birds made it a 6-0 game at 2:29 of the third period on a power-play goal by Delnov. Honey sent the puck from behind the net to Delnov in the right circle. Delnov looked at the point but whipped the puck on net surprising Rathjen and beating him low for his second goal of the night. Sheen had the second assist on the goal.
