The North SeaTac BMX Park opens for action April 6-7.
The motocross bicycle track, at 1855 South 136th St., in the North SeaTac Park, is open for riders of all ages and skill levels.
Race signups are 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. each day, with racing to follow.
It is free to spectators.
First-time riders can try out the track for free. Just bring a bike, long-sleeve shirt, closed-toed shoes, pants and a parent if you’re under the age of I8.
Racers range from 4 years old to those in their 60s, from beginners to BMX champions.
SeaTac is the home to Jill Kintner, an Olympic BMX medalist in 2008.
