IAN BUCKLES, Kentridge Grade: Senior. Sport: Baseball. Accomplishment: Buckles went 2-for-4 with a home run and picked up the win on the mound last week in a 4-3 victory over Kentlake in a South Puget Sound League North Division game. Favorite class: Sports Medicine.

Sport: Baseball.

Accomplishment: Buckles went 2-for-4 with a home run and picked up the win on the mound last week in a 4-3 victory over Kentlake in a South Puget Sound League North Division game.

Favorite class: Sports Medicine.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: My dad, and I would eat spaghetti and meatballs while watching the Mariners in the playoffs. If that ever happens. Greatest athletic moment: Throwing a complete game to beat reigning state champion Kentwood in the first game of the season.

Most recent book read/author: “Ethan Frome” by Edith Wharton. Currently playing on your iPod: Green Day.

Favorite movie: The Three Amigos.  In 10 years, I will be …: Finished with my Doctorate in physical therapy.

 

ASHLEY CONRADI, Kentridge

Grade: Junior. Sport: Fastpitch.

Accomplishment: Conradi went 4-for-4 with four RBIs in a 14-1 win over Kent-Meridian last week.

Favorite class: Graphic Arts.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Taylor Swift. She seems really sweet and I bump her music in my car daily. I would bring along some of my delicious orange chicken.

Greatest athletic moment: Being named MVP and best offensive player last year on (junior varsity).

Currently playing on your iPod: “Erase Me” by Kid Cudi.  Favorite movie: The Breakfast Club.  In 10 years, I will be …: Hopefully a successful graphic designer.

 

HANNAH FEIST, Kentwood

Grade: Senior.

Sport: Fastpitch.

Accomplishment: Feist went 2-for-4 with three runs scored, six RBIs and a pair of triples in a 20-3 victory over Auburn last week.

Favorite class: Leadership. If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: (I would invite) James Franco, (and I would serve) spaghetti and meatballs so we can live our “Lady and the Tramp” moment.

Greatest athletic moment: Me and Bailey Marshall’s first double play this season.

Most recent book read/author: “The Catcher in the Rye,” by J.D. Salinger. Currently playing on your iPod: “Look at me now,” by Chris Brown.  Favorite movie: Miracle.

In 10 years, I will be …: A firefighter.

 

KARA IKEDA, Kentlake

Grade: Junior.

Sport: Tennis.

Accomplishment: Ikeda worked over Mount Rainier’s Jelena Stevanovic 6-4, 6-1 in a No. 1 singles match last week.

Favorite class: AP Biology. If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite the cast of “How I met your mother” and serve soup, salad, and breadsticks from the Olive Garden.

Greatest athletic moment: I have an undefeated record of 4-0 so far. Most recent book read/author: “Will Grayson, Will Grayson,” by John Green.

Currently playing on your iPod: Zee Avi.

Favorite movie: Despicable Me. In 10 years, I will be …: A billionaire living in a castle.

 

ABU KAMARA, Kent-Meridian

Grade: Sophomore.

Sport: Track.

Accomplishment: Kamara won the 110 hurdles, the 300 hurdles and anchored Kent-Meridian’s victorious 4 x 100 relay team in a 79-65.5 win over Tahoma last week. Kamara’s time in the 110 hurdles (14.77) is the third-fastest performance in the state this year while his mark in the 300 hurdles (40.34) is the fourth-fastest in the state.

Favorite class: Math.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: David Oliver and I would serve spaghetti and meatballs with chicken Caesar salad.

Greatest athletic moment: Starting on the varsity basketball team this past season.

Favorite movie: Step Brothers.

Most recent book read/author: “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck.

Currently playing on your iPod: “Power” by Kanye West.   In 10 years, I will be …: Studying to become a psychiatrist.
