Editor’s note: This is the Kent Reporter’s final edition of the school year that will include Preps of the Week. We will pick up with Preps of the Week in the fall.
AARON ABRAMS, Kentridge
Grade: Senior.
Sport: Track.
Accomplishment: Abrams blazed a path at the district meet, breaking the tape in the 100-meter dash in 11.42 seconds to take fourth place and earn a berth to the state meet.
Favorite class: Percussion.
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: It would be my old friend Morrey Brown. He was my mentor my freshman year, and then drastically died at Cal Poly. I would probably have chicken with him.
Greatest athletic moment: Going to state in the 100-meter dash.
Most recent book read/author: “Tuesdays with Morrie” by Mitch Albom.
What’s on your iPod?: “September” by Daughtry.
Also noted: Abrams has 3,012 community service hours for his four years in high school and will attend Azusa Pacific University in the fall.
