Accomplishment: Daigre, the Class 4A defending state champion in the 800-meter dash, won the event again last week, holding off Kentwood’s Tim Pettit en route to clocking a 1:52.86. The time is Daigre’s best of the season and helped the K-M boys wrap up its first SPSL North team title since 2001.
Favorite class: English.
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Nick Symmonds so I could ask him how to run a better 800 meter. I would serve pasta.
Greatest athletic moment: Winning state my sophomore year in the 800.
