KENT PARKS YOUTH FLAG PROGRAM
One program will be available for boys entering grades 4-5, and one for boys entering grades 6-7. It is open to boys who live in the city of Kent, or who are Kent School District students living in unincorporated King County. Players will be placed on teams in their school area. The cost is $40 if registered by Aug. 24, and $45 after Aug. 24. Teams will play an eight-game schedule at Wilson Playfields on Kent’s East Hill from October through mid November. Games will be played at 6 p.m. or 7:15 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, with a jamboree for both programs on Tuesday, Oct. 6. HART’S GYMNASTICS CAMPS
This one-week camp for those ages 6-12 is scheduled for Aug. 10-14 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily at Hart’s Gymnastics Center, 4520 B St. NW in Auburn. The camp will include rotations on all four events, organized gymnastics games and a visit from Seaweed the Inflatable Dragon. The cost is $150 for Auburn residents and $188 for non-residents.
