Mat Classic XXXI has expanded its brackets to accommodate 32 individuals in each weight division, a result of the regional bouts that were lost to inclement weather and road conditions last weekend.
The revised state meet begins Friday, with finals Saturday at the Tacoma Dome.
Due to the weather conditions, the WIAA cancelled all boys and girls regional wrestling tournaments last weekend in the best interest of safety and equal opportunity for all participants.
Kent schools were scheduled for boys regional action at Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way last Saturday. The girls regional was to be contested across town at Decatur High School.
