The Pacific Cup of the women’s Legends Football League (LFL) returns to the ShoWare Center in Kent at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, when the Seattle Mist plays the BC Angels.
The Kent-based Mist beat the Angels in the first Pacific Cup last year at the ShoWare Center.
“Since 2009, we have enjoyed incredible fan support for the Seattle Mist at ShoWare Center,” said LFL chairman Mitchell S. Mortaza, in a media release. “The annual Pacific Cup creates another great opportunity for the Mist fan base to see their team in a unique USA vs. Canada setting.”
Tickets are $85, $55, $35, $25 and $1. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20. Tickets are available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the arena box office, 625 W. James St.; by calling 866-973-9613 or at ShoWareCenter.com.
The Mist have won the LFL’s 8th Man Award (Best Fan Base) for two consecutive years because of the environment Mist Nation creates packing the ShoWare Center.
“The LFL has always created incredible excitement at the ShoWare Center with Seattle Mist football,” said ShoWare general manager Tim Higgins. “Now hosting the 2nd annual Pacific Cup, the intensity and fan fare grows even more considering our proximity to Canada and British Columbia.”
The LFL features play in the U.S., Canada and Australia and plans to expand in 2015 to Europe.
