Seattle Mist women’s football team sets Feb. 22 tryout date

The Kent-based Seattle Mist women's football team will have a player tryout from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22 in Milton at 1205 19th Ave.

Try out for the Kent-based Seattle Mist women's football team on Feb. 22 in Milton.

The Kent-based Seattle Mist women’s football team will have a player tryout from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22 in Milton at 1205 19th Ave.

Registration is at 2:30 p.m. Players should wear athletic attire and turf shoes.

Seattle will play three Legends Football League games this season at the ShoWare Center in Kent. The Mist play the Los Angeles Temptation at  8 p.m. on Friday, May 29 and play the Temptation again at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 3. The Mist plays the Las Vegas Sin at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1.

The league, formerly the Lingerie Football League, features a seven-on-seven game of tackle football.
