Seattle Thunderbirds release preseason hockey schedule

The Kent-based Seattle Thunderbirds junior hockey team released their 2013-14 preseason schedule on Tuesday.

The Seattle Thunderbirds will open the 2013-14 preseason on Aug. 30. They will play one exhibition game in Kent on Sept. 14 at the ShoWare Center.

The Seattle Thunderbirds will open the 2013-14 preseason on Aug. 30. They will play one exhibition game in Kent on Sept. 14 at the ShoWare Center.

The Kent-based Seattle Thunderbirds junior hockey team released their 2013-14 preseason schedule on Tuesday.

The Thunderbirds open play Aug. 30 and will have seven exhibition games prior to the start of the 2013-14 regular season. They will have one home game, at 7:05 p.m. Sept. 14 against the Everett Silvertips at the ShoWare Center.

Friday, Aug. 30 vs. Tri-City 11:30 a.m. at Everett Tournament

Saturday, Aug. 31 vs. Victoria, 3 p.m. at Everett Tournament

Sunday, Sept. 1 vs. Spokane, 3 p.m. at Everett Tournament

Friday, Sept. 6 vs. Tri-City, 7:05 p.m. at Tri-City Tournament

Saturday, Sept. 7 vs. Portland, 3 p.m. at Tri-City Tournament

Friday, Sept. 13 @ Everett, 7:35 p.m. at Comcast Arena

Saturday, Sept. 14 vs. Everett, 7:05 p.m. at ShoWare Center

Single game tickets for the 2013-14 regular season will go on sale on in late August online on the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.
