Biography:

2008-09: Lindsay had 22 points on 11 goals and 11 assists in 38 games. Lindsay ended the season with a plus/minus rating of minus-7 and spent 10 minutes in the penalty box. Lindsay scored two goals against the Prince George Cougars on Jan. 11 at ShoWare Center. Lindsay missed the last two weeks of November and the first two weeks of December with an injury. He injured his ankle Jan. 18 against Tri-City and missed the rest of the regular season and the playoffs.

2007-08: In his fourth year with the T-Birds, Lindsay appeared in all 72 games. He recorded 13 goals along with 30 assists for a total of 43 points. He also had a plus minus rating of positive 29 while spending 29 total minutes in the penalty box. He tallied a season-high three assists on Nov. 3 against Tri-City. He also recorded two assists on four separate occasions. In the playoffs, Lindsay played in all twelve games and had three goals with one assist.

2006-07: Lindsay played in 53 games and had six goals and six assists for 12 points. He had a plus/minus rating of minus-2 and 24 penalty minutes. He had a four-game point streak (1-3-4) in November and a three-game point streak (2-1-3) in March. Lindsay played in all 11 playoff games and had two points on a goal and an assist.

2005-2006: In Nielsen’s rookie season with the T-Birds he had 10 points on five goals and five assists in 50 games. Nielsen had eight penalty minutes and a plus/minus rating of minus-5. He had assists in back-to-back games on January 15 and January 18. He had a goal and two assists in the last two games of the season.

2004-2005: Lindsay played five games with the T-Birds this season. In those five games he saw significant ice time but did not register a point. Lindsay also played 36 games with the South Side Athletic Club Midget AAA team in Edmonton. During those 36 games, Nielsen had 16 goals and 18 assists for 34 points.
