The Tacoma Stars (10-5) wrap up a three-game homestand with a match against the St. Louis Ambush (2-12) on Friday at the ShoWare Center.

Tacoma enters the match riding a three-game winning streak after beating the Turlock Express (2-10) by a score of 8-2 last Friday night. The Stars have out-scored their opponents 18-9 during the streak.

Stars forwards Raphael Cox and Dan Antoniuk, along with defender Adam West, all recorded a pair of goals in Tacoma’s 8-2 win over Turlock. West’s third brace of the season earned him MASL Team of the Week Honorable Mention for week 15.

Through 15 games, the Stars defense has allowed just 73 goals, the second fewest in the league. Goalkeeper Danny Waltman has racked up 197 saves and is allowing just 4.82 goals per game, the fourth best mark in the circuit.

Forward Odaine Sinclair and midfielder Lucas Almeida lead the Ambush offensive attack, accumulating 19 and 13 points this season, respectively. Piotr Sliwa and Marcelo Moreira have nearly evenly split time in goal for St. Louis, combining to record 208 saves on 295 shots.

The Ambush have lost each of their last three matches, including a 9-8 loss in overtime to Chicago and a 3-2 loss in penalty kicks to Syracuse.

The Friday night match is scheduled to kick off at 7:35. Live stats can be found at www.maslsoccer.com, while a live webcast can be found at www.golivesportscast.com.
