The Tacoma Stars have re-signed veteran forward Vince McCluskey for the 2018-19 Major Arena Soccer League season.
As per team and league policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
McCluskey appeared in 22 games for the Stars last season, including all three playoff games.
The Seattle native and University of Puget Sound alum joined the Stars during the 2014-15 season, coming from Sacramento. He has 20 career points (13 goals, seven assits) in 54 appearances. Last season saw a career high in goals and points with seven and 11, respectively.
“After going to Sweden and putting in shifts with the Stars, Vince has developed into an imposing target player,” said Darren Sawatzky, Stars coach and general manager. “Getting him under contract was a priority this off season and we look forward to seeing him do work.”
The Stars kick off the season on Saturday, Dec. 1 against the Turlock Express at the accesso ShoWare Center.
