Seattle Thunderbirds Assistant Turner Stevenson allowed his children Jakob, 8, left, and Branden, 10, Dec. 26 to play on the new ice at the ShoWare Center in Kent before the Thunderbirds took to the ice for their first-ever practice there. The T-Birds’s first home game in Kent is Jan. 3 against the Everett Silvertips.
