T-Birds confirm season schedule: Two games at ShoWare Center change start times

The T-Birds will open the 2009-10 Western Hockey League regular season with back-to-back home games against the Everett Silvertips and Portland Winterhawks. The T-Birds will take on the Silvertips Sept. 18, at 7:35 p.m. and then host the Winterhawks Sept. 19, at 7:05 p.m. Both games are at ShoWare Center in Kent.

The T-Birds will open the 2009-10 Western Hockey League regular season with back-to-back home games against the Everett Silvertips and Portland Winterhawks.

The T-Birds will take on the Silvertips Sept. 18, at 7:35 p.m. and then host the Winterhawks Sept. 19, at 7:05 p.m. Both games are at ShoWare Center in Kent.

There are two T-Birds games at ShoWare Center that have changed start times.

The game scheduled on the Presidents’ Day holiday on Monday, February 15, against the Vancouver Giants now will start at 5:05 p.m.

The game scheduled on Saturday, February 27, against the Winterhawks will now start at 6:05 p.m.

Seattle will play their I-5 rivals the Winterhawks six times at home and the Silvertips five times at home.

The T-Birds will play 31 games on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday during the 2009-10 season.

T-Birds season tickets are also currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T- Birds office at 253-239-PUCK.

T-Birds single game tickets for the 2009-10 season will go on sale on Wednesday, August 19, at 10 a.m. online at www.seattlethunderbirds.com and at the ShoWare Center box office.
