The Seattle Thunderbirds released their 2015-16 regular-season schedule today.
The T-Birds open the Western Hockey League season on the road against the Vancouver Giants at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at the Pacific Coliseum.
The T-Birds’ home opener is at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 against the Prince George Cougars.
The schedule includes 15 home games on a Saturday, nine home games on a Tuesday, eight home games on a Friday, two home games on a Sunday and two home games on a Wednesday.
The T-Birds will take on the Portland Winterhawks six times at the ShoWare Center, with five of the games being played on a Saturday and one game being played on a Friday. Rival Everett will travel to the ShoWare Center to face the T-Birds five times.
The Kelowna Rockets, last season’s WHL champion, will be at the ShoWare Center to face the T-Birds on Jan. 31 and Feb. 9.
All games will be broadcast on 1090 The Fan and streamed live on the website of 1090 The Fan.

Tuesday, June 30 is the deadline to receive two free tickets to the home opener. T-Bird fans who purchase a 24-Flex Ticket Package before the deadline will receive two free tickets to the home opener.

Single-game tickets for the home preseason game will go on sale in late August. Tickets can be purchased online on the T-Birds website or at the ShoWare Center box office.
