Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell today announced left wing Greg Scott has joined the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.
The Marlies are the top minor league affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Scott, a four year veteran of the T-Birds, led the team in scoring this past season with 32 goals and 44 assists for 76 points. Scott finished his T-Birds career with 205 points, on 96 goals and 109 assists in 278 games played. He had a career plus/minus rating of plus-58 with 194 penalty minutes.
Scott signed a three year entry level contract with the Maple Leafs at the end of the 2007-08 season. He attended Maple Leafs training camp prior to this past season before being reassigned to the T-Birds.
T-Birds season tickets for the 2009-10 season are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-PUCK (7825).
