The Conquerors lost to the Vikings in four games (25-13, 25-22, 26-28, 25-19) and will take the No. 4 seed to the Class 4A West Central District tournament, which is slated for Nov. 6 at Kentwood High. Overall, it was a rough day for local teams at the league tournament. Kent-Meridian lost to Puyallup (22-25, 26-24, 25-17, 25-23) and will take the No. 8 seed to the district tournament while Kentridge fell to Rogers (25-20, 25-23, 24-26, 25-17) and will take the No. 10 seed. The top eight teams from the 16-team district tournament field advance to state, which is next weekend at Kennewick’s Toyota Center.
